FAQ
How long does it take?
It depends on my availability, your book's complexity (length, number of images, etc.), and the tidiness of your document. Allow a minimum of one week.
What is your experience?
I’ve been typesetting on and off since 2009 and full-time since 2022.
What software do you use?
Adobe InDesign or Adobe FrameMaker (for technical documents). These are both industry standards.
Do you design book covers?
Yes, I used AI-generated art, alterations in photoshop, and sometimes stock images, combined with typefaces to create the covers you see in my portfolio. If you have a design already, I can modify it to fit the dimensions required by printing companies.
How do I get started?
Contact me through one of my freelancer profiles to describe your document. Your text should already be proofread and finished before you give it to me. If not, I can also act as a proofreader and/or editor.
Where can I get my book printed and distributed?
Some self-publishing services include Amazon KDP, Lulu.com, and IngramSpark.
